Orthodontics

Orthodontics is a field in dentistry that studies, prevents and treats irregularities of the teeth and the jaws. The doctors that specialize in this field are called orthodontists and have to go through two or three more years of practice. Orthodontics uses fixed or mobile appliances to correct the position of the teeth and the jaws.
