All-on-4® treatment concept | Nobel Biocare

The all on 4 dental implant was developed in 90 s by Dr. Paulo Malo (from Portugal). This technique is based on a restorative implant technique on only 4 implants instead of the standard 6 to 8 implants. The main principle of this technique is the angulated placement of both rear implant towards distal, to reach the most rear part of the arch, avoiding the sinus maxillaries in the upper arch and the mandible nerve in the lower arch.

Immediate loading

Once a certain initial stability is reached(we prefer 35ncm), all on 4 implants can be restored immediately after placement(ideally within 48 hours with a fixed temporary solution). Immediate loading can enhance the quality of osseointegration in case the bridge isnt overloaded.
