Jika ada gigi berlubang, dokter gigi harus terlebih dahulu membuang semua kerusakan dan bakteri, serta membentuk area tersebut. Setelah itu, area tersebut harus diisi dengan bahan tambalan yang sesuai. Berbagai bahan dapat digunakan dalam kedokteran gigi, seperti emas, amalgam, komposit, dan porselen.<\/p><p>Karies gigi adalah salah satu penyakit paling umum yang harus segera diobati. Setelah seluruh kerusakan dihilangkan, akan ada gigi berlubang yang harus ditutup dengan benar. Cara terbaik untuk melakukannya adalah dengan menggunakan bahan tambalan gigi. Dokter gigi dan ilmuwan telah menghabiskan banyak waktu untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai bahan dan menemukan bahan yang sempurna. Setelah sekian lama, meskipun belum ditemukan bahan yang ideal, setiap kemajuan membawa bahan yang semakin baik. Dengan penggunaan tambalan, dokter gigi dapat mereproduksi anatomi gigi yang rusak dan mengembalikan fungsinya. Masa pakai bahan restorasi jenis ini, jika dilakukan dengan benar, sangat panjang.<\/p><p>Bahan ini biokompatibel dengan jaringan di sekitarnya dan sangat tahan lama. Sayangnya, plak mudah menempel pada emas, yang menjadi salah satu kekurangan, selain harganya yang mahal.
