L'hypoplasie de Turner est une anomalie des dents qui affecte l'apparence des dents. L'hypoplasie est un d\u00e9faut quantitatif de l'\u00e9mail et il est expliqu\u00e9 histomorphologiquement comme un d\u00e9faut externe impliquant la surface de l'\u00e9mail et associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une \u00e9paisseur r\u00e9duite d'\u00e9mail. L'apparition des dents du Turner est variable, bien que g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement se manifeste comme une partie de l'\u00e9mail manquant ou diminu\u00e9 sur la dentition permanente. Contrairement \u00e0 d'autres anomalies qui affectent un certain nombre de dents, l'hypoplasie de Turner affecte g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une seule dent dans la m\u00e2choire et, elle est nomm\u00e9e comme une dent Turner. La dentition primaire et permanente pourrait \u00eatre affect\u00e9e par l'hypoplasie de l'\u00e9mail, cependant, elle est plus fr\u00e9quente dans la dentition permanente. When Turner\u2019s hypoplasia is found on a canine or a premolar, it is most likely caused by an infection that was present when the primary tooth was still in the mouth. Most possibly, the primary tooth was heavily decayed and an area of inflamed tissues around the root apex affected the development of the permanent tooth. Lower bicuspids suffer from Turner\u2019s hypoplasia more often, because constant molars above them are very vulnerable to the infection. The abnormality in appearance of the affected tooth will depend on the severity and longevity of the infection. If Turner\u2019s hypoplasia is found in the anterior area of the mouth, it is most likely caused by a traumatic injury to a primary tooth (picture 1). The traumatized tooth, which is most often a maxillary central incisor, is pushed into the developing tooth underneath it and consequently affects the formation of enamel. Because of the location of the permanent tooth\u2019s developing tooth bud in relation to the primary tooth, the most likely affected area on the permanent tooth is the vestibular surface. Hypoplasia can be categorized by the appearance and tooth tissue defect in four types. In type I hypoplasia enamel discoloration is present. In type II hypolasia there is abnormal coalescence. Type III is more severe and some parts of enamel are missing, while type IV (picture 2) is a combination of all three previous types of hypoplasia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00a0Les caract\u00e9ristiques cliniques de l'hypoplasie de Turner sont des esth\u00e9tiques d\u00e9favorables, une sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 la dentine plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e, une malocclusion et elles sont plus sujettes aux caries. Le diagnostic visuel de l'hypoplasie de Turner est possible car la d\u00e9coloration et les changements pathologiques de l'\u00e9mail sont visibles. L'examen aux rayons X peut montrer l'apex d\u00e9form\u00e9 de la dent, peut donc donner les id\u00e9es sur le facteur provocant de la maladie. Le traitement de l'hypoplasie de Turner a besoin d'une th\u00e9rapie dentaire complexe. Selon les r\u00e9sultats de la radiographie, les cons\u00e9quences du probl\u00e8me (cela peut \u00eatre un traumatisme ou une infection) doit subir une correction. La th\u00e9rapie ad\u00e9quate pour ce type de condition est de promouvoir une r\u00e9habilitation orale compl\u00e8te dans l'esth\u00e9tique et la fonction.
