Une th\u00e9rapie r\u00e9ussie comprend le traitement, une hygi\u00e8ne bucco-dentaire parfaite et l'\u00e9limination de facteurs tels que le tabagisme et l'alcool. Le traitement comprend un nettoyage en profondeur - \u00e9limination de la plaque et du tartre - et un surfa\u00e7age radiculaire.
