En fait, c'est le seul mat\u00e9riau qui \u00e9tait utilis\u00e9 pour les facettes jusqu'\u00e0 il y a 15 ans.<\/p><p>La c\u00e9ramique feldspathique est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9e pour les dents ant\u00e9rieures, rarement pour les pr\u00e9molaires et presque jamais pour les molaires en raison des caract\u00e9ristiques de r\u00e9sistance inf\u00e9rieures du mat\u00e9riau par rapport aux mat\u00e9riaux vitroc\u00e9ramiques les plus r\u00e9cents. La c\u00e9ramique feldspathique a une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la fracture inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle de la zircone et du disilicate de lithium. Ce mat\u00e9riau est indiqu\u00e9 pour les zones \u00e0 faible contrainte et pour les dents qui ont des restes d'\u00e9mail importants. La pr\u00e9servation du tissu dentaire est beaucoup plus facile avec la c\u00e9ramique feldspathique car elle ne n\u00e9cessite que tr\u00e8s peu ou pas de pr\u00e9paration dentaire. En revanche, les restaurations en c\u00e9ramique feldspathique sont plus difficiles \u00e0 installer car elles ont tendance \u00e0 r\u00e9tr\u00e9cir pendant la p\u00e9riode de fabrication. Les restaurations en porcelaine feldspathique doivent \u00eatre coll\u00e9es avec des agents de liaison en r\u00e9sine et ne peuvent pas \u00eatre ciment\u00e9es.<\/p><p>Pour un temps tr\u00e8s long, les Dentistes ont fait usage de ce mat\u00e9riel simplement en raison de sa bonne esth\u00e9tique. Les facettes de ce mat\u00e9riel peut \u00eatre la plus fine de 0,4 mm comme un r\u00e9sultat de la bonne translucidit\u00e9 que le feldspath c\u00e9ramique fournit. Cela explique sans doute pourquoi la plupart des dentistes utilisent encore et pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent ce mat\u00e9riau. Un autre grand avantage de ce mat\u00e9riau est qu&#039;dentistes retirent moins de la structure de la dent.
