Dental crowns
Dental crowns are "caps" for tooth structure which is not restorable anymore on a restaurative way. Crowns are used as a replacement for a single tooth as also for several teeth. The material mostly used for crowns is porcelain fused to a metal base but also pure porcelain like zirkonia is a common material. Zirkonia is the most modern material because of its strength and its high esthetical value which can imitate the natural tooth at its best.
